Scrap the boys

Just a quick layout share. This one is for the May STB's challenge .
You had to use a photo of your boy or boys getting dirty and your photo had to inspire your layout in some way.
So I have used a photo of Declan eating an icy pole. I have taken inspiration from the dripping icy pole and the colour.

Retreat layouts.

So I was lucky enough to go an amazing retreat recently. It was organised by Malinda Gardner and it was a great weekend. Jodie and I bunked together and as usual that made for a few laughs including a few too many cowboys and lots of fun. Got to meet a heap of lovely ladies and catch up with some I hadn't seen in ages.

I did 14 layouts, which was all right. I wasn't really organised, since we had just got home from Thailand and it took me a bit to get started.

The best bit is Jodie and I are off on another one in a few weeks. YAY!

Anyway here's my layouts that I haven't already shared. Coz they were CT or challenge layouts.

This was a layout based on a sketch for a challenge.

This was a layout for a recipe challenge set by Mal. Loved this one.

Absolutely love this new flames template. It is awesome. Had fun experimenting and
using it as waves too.

This was a layout based on an inspiration pic for a challenge.

This was a layout I created in Peta's blind scrap. It was a lot of fun.

Anyway that's it for the moment. Got a few layouts on the go, so I'll be back soon.
Thanks for looking.

May WW1

MAY CHALLENGE

WHITE + CREAM + CHIPBOARD

**Please link your challenge entries to this post no later than 11.59pm on May 31st.
I wasn't sure about cream to start off with, But once I looked through my stash, I realised I had a few things I could use. I actually made 2 layouts using this criteria. But ended up liking this first one better. So I used it as my CT layout. Pop over here WW1  and check out the other CT members fabulous layouts.

Quick challenge layout share.

So here's a few challenge layouts.
The first is for the April KIU You had to use Kraft pp or cs and 3 other kraft items. I have used a kraft envelope, some small kraft tickets and one large kraft ticket.

The next one is for the April STB you had to use boy related packaging. I have used some tags from the boys clothes and pictures of Baileys tech dech birthday cake.

This one is for Charms creations April/May challenge to use her gorgeous handmade superstars on a layout. Baileys class had to write a positive comment about each child in their grade. I just loved it so had to scrap them.

The last one is for the May 123 challenge. You had to use the word enjoy, the colour orange and twine.

Wow! April was a busy month!

So April was such a busy month. We celebrated easter at home one day early and headed off to the airport to fly out at midnight. We went to Phuket for 2 weeks and it was just AMAZING. The boys had such a great time. Thought I'd share a few of my favourite pics.
We had the best time,  did some great tours, lots of chilling by the pool or beach and of course some shopping.

So I didn't even get my April WW1 layout up as the challenge wasn't up before I left and we got back late in the month. I was straight back to work the next day, so it took me a while to get back into it. Anyway the challenge was white + Grey + tags and tabs. I found this one to be a bit of a challenge. I ended up mixing some paint and using a straw to splatter it across the page and using clothes tags.
So here's my layout.

I have a few challenge layouts to share and some  retreat layouts to share.
Back soon
